About the Artist

Hi!

My name is Emma and I live in Ferring in West Sussex, UK.   I have lived here for 2 years and absolutely love living by the seaside!

I started painting in 2019, I was going through a hard time in my life and was looking for a hobby to help with my mental health.  I stumbled upon this art and fell in love with it straight away.  I watched hours and hours of videos on youtube before being brave enough to have a go!   Well, from my very first attempts I was hooked.  It's a very addictive art and I love how abstract and creative it is. 

I stopped painting for a while when we moved house and last year my wonderful partner built an amazing art studio in our garden!   This has allowed me to release my creativity and get painting again.

Each piece is unique and I always varnish paintings. I also include a wall hanging kit. 

I am enjoying my journey as I develop as an artist and draw from nature and the ocean for inspiration.
